Our Capabilities
But what makes us different?
Fast response
Our aim is in less than 1 week to provide you with a best fit solution to your target application with a preliminary optical design, approximate costs, and production feasibility considerations.
Quality assured
We are constantly looking at ways of improving product quality using a suite of in-house testing equipment and on-the-job training for our skilled production technicians. We use a next generation automated MTF lens testing system to test the performance of the lenses and optical systems we produce. This approach removes much of the variability of human involvement resulting in faster, more accurate and repeatable testing as well as improved product quality. In addition, our automated test centre can also measure distortion, focal length and register position. All this valuable quality information can be provided to customers with their finished lenses from our ISO9001-2015 and ISO14001 quality accredited facility here in the UK.
Security of supply
To safeguard your investment, once you have a custom lens that is designed and supplied by Resolve Optics, that lens will be available for as long as you require it. This provides you with guaranteed security of supply. Depending on the quantity you require per year you can also have design exclusivity, meaning nobody else can purchase your lens and you have secured that all important competitive edge that is not possible when selecting an ‘off-the-shelf’ lens.
Knowledgeable
Though we supply custom lenses and optical systems to customers operating in a broad array of different markets – we are internationally renowned for our expertise and knowledge of the aerospace and nuclear industries. Designing high performance optical systems for aerospace projects is something that we have done for over 20 years. Lenses that are used in aircraft and satellites must meet certain basic requirements to survive the temperature, mechanical, radiation and vacuum challenges that space places upon components and systems working in this remote environment. Our expertise in radiation resistant optical materials has made Resolve Optics the leading supplier of fixed and zoom lens for monitoring applications in nuclear reprocessing and power generation.
On receipt of a design enquiry our talented team of optomechanical design engineers starts with an in-depth review of the target application and performance specifications required of the custom optics. We ask additional questions about to gain a complete understanding of the project and overall business goals. On agreement of the project design specification, we become partners with a common goal to create a state-of-the-art optical solution tailored to your exact needs.
Our overall goal is to deliver to you optimised custom lenses and optical systems in a timely, cost-effective manner that fulfil your needs and help increase your competitive edge and profitability.
